About Us
The maker, dreamer, CEO and occasional mess maker (and janitor lol) here at Fenix Farm Co. A wife who lost her husband to cancer, but doesnt want that to be my ending story, I want to carry on this legacy that my husband, left to our boys and I. He was a United States Army Veteran, so we are military owned (ask about our discount for our fellow service members & battle buddies), I too served in the military (shout out to all my 42A buddies), in a prior life before becoming a mom to our two boys! Who are also the reason behind Fenix Farm Co. They both struggle with eczema, one of my boys suffers from a severe form, which made me want to do something better for them, rather than to either not give them baths, like a doctor had recommended or to put them on steroids, which for me wasnt a long term solution, as a mom, you want to help in all ways! Thats where the hundreds of hours of research came into play... I wanted to create something that would help their skin and be that long term solution not only for them alone but for everyone, because everyone needs soap! I began my cold process soap journey in 2019, and this is when I fell in love with the whole process, especially the chemistry behind it all (because if i'm being honest I was always good at chemistry if I didnt join the military, I would've went to school for it). Furthermore, I am able to chose all the ingredients used, so that they serve an added benefit for those with sensitive skin like my boys. Also, unlike mass produced detergents "beauty bars", every 100% soap bar that I create is made from scratch in small batches, with ingredients that you can pronounce, and may even be familiar with.
Using the Cold Process Method, I am able to preserve the integrity of the skin-loving ingredients, resulting in a creamy decadent luxe lather, that you just cant find on a supermarket shelf! Having Fenix Farm Co. has allowed me to create intricate designs and custom formulas that nourish your skin without taking shortcuts! I take pride in the entire process of making my soaps, from the formulation of the recipes that I have custom made - to the scent combinations - to the design process - to cutting into the soap and being surprised every time by the design (whether good or bad), to even packaging and shipping your orders! I love it all! Its really not work when you love what you do! And with that being said I know you'll enjoy our soaps as much as I have enjoyed making them for you! From our lab to your bath or shower, please enjoy using a handmade, hand-cut, 100% soap, with lots of luxurious bubbles!
Also, I take extreme pride in Fenix Farm Co. because this was the gift my husband left to me and our boys! and I know he wouldnt want me to ever give up on my dream!
Some of the Ingredients that I use:
- I never use water, only Pure Aloe Vera Juice! The Fenix Farm Co. Way!
- If not all my products; most of them, contain Organic Coconut Milk which is deeply hydrating, adds to the creamy luxe bubbles, and is a non stripping cleansing agent
- Every soap contains Beef Tallow which is a deep moisturizer, nutrient rich with vitamins, also aids in the luxe bubbles, but also helps to repair the skin barrier and calm inflammation
- Olive Oil another ingredient in every soap aids in moisturizing and nurishing the skin, without clogging pores, an ideal ingredient for those with sensitive or dry skin- it is a humectant which means that it attracts moisture (very beneficial for skin!)
- Organic Coconut Oil offers deep hydration, and antimicrobial protection and reduces skin inflammation
- Pure Aloe Vera Juice acts as a natural moisturizer helping to hydrate and strengthen the skins moisture barrier, also offers antibacterial protection
This is just a simple list of the ingredients that I use in every bar! you can also do your own research to see the many more benefits that each of these ingredients offers the skin alone!
If you are still here reading this I would personally like to thank you, on behalf of my family as well, for supporting our small business. Your support helps me to continue to do what I love, my dream! So I thank each and every one of you for that!
